Who We Are
Anointed Botanicals was born when we discovered the incredible healing power of tallow. After Hurricane Helene swept through the east coast, we had to travel to Charleston to stay with my sister. She had recently ordered tallow balm and when my 1-year- old daughter got a bad mosquito bite, we applied the balm to it. Bug bites often took more than 3 weeks to heal for our girl. The next day, it was nearly gone! We were shocked and I was sold. As soon as I was able, I headed to my local farm in Fairview, North Carolina and started sourcing my tallow from them. I began a journey of researching and sourcing sustainable, pure, and organic ingredients to make the most effective and beneficial tallow balm possible, while prioritizing sustainability and low-waste. Formulating an amazing facial balm led to the development of our diaper balm to replace the commercial one we had been using. Shockingly, it worked even better! No more diaper rash disasters. From there we perfected our lip treatment to round out the product lineup! Our mission is to create a tallow skincare line that is accessible and functional for every person, from our family to yours.
Our tallow is sustainably sourced from a farm in WNC that practices regenerative farming, taking their environmental responsibility a few steps further than the average farm. All ingredients in our products are vetted thoroughly. Every essential oil we use is GC/MS tested for purity; our main supplier additionally runs 20 different purity tests on each batch. No synthetics, fillers, or preservatives are used in our products. Ever. We are committed to 100% ingredient transparency. What you see on the label is what you get. Your health and access to truly pure products is our top priority! We believe in honoring our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit, including when choosing what we put on our bodies.
We use all of our own products on ourselves and our baby. Our products have been beloved by the youngest of the crew to the wisest.
